Tom Gillon
President and Owner
William B. Meyer, Inc. appointed Tom Gillon President in 1991. A seasoned executive with more than 30 years of proven experience, Mr. Gillon is committed to company -wide, long and short term planning and a goal oriented management style that is practiced at all levels.
In his current capacity, Mr. Gillon has worked diligently to establish quantitative methods for evaluating service quality service while playing an instrumental role in the development of the technology advancements that enables the company to support the clients need for timely and accurate information.
Mr. Gillon joined William B. Meyer in 1973 as General Manager in the Rigging and Industrial Services Division. During his more than three decades with the company, Mr. Gillon has overseen the warehousing operations and records management services, and led the efforts for the development and design of the records management facility in Bedford Hills, NY and the book depository facility in Franklin, MA.
A hands-on executive, Mr. Gillon is a strong believer in training and development and open communication. He continually demonstrates a commitment to the community, the business at large and the 300 families that have built their lives around the growth and success of William B. Meyer.
Mr. Gillon earned his bachelor's degree and master's of business administration from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
